The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Evaristo Cordareo. But to his dismay, Evaristo Cordareo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Club Atlético Escocia's Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huang Lin Fan in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute Sebastián Erasto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Aerolineas Argentinas FC fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Evaristo Cordareo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Anfilogino Tolin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Tauro in the 27th minute of play. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastián Erasto in the 28th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Escocia's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Cordareo came free, but Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Atlético Escocia's Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Cordareo in the 36th minute of play. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastián Erasto, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. A throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game was made by Bertil Lindsten with Evaristo Cordareo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 45th minute of the match Aerolineas Argentinas FC got a corner. Club Atlético Escocia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sebastián Erasto ran over to the corner to take the kick. After the first half Aerolineas Argentinas FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Daryl Lutz was substituted for Sebastián Erasto. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evaristo Cordareo made a kick off. Aerolineas Argentinas FC made a substitution. Lázaro Ledesma replaced Huang Lin Fan. 60 minutes into the match, Evaristo Cordareo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri. Club Atlético Escocia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evaristo Cordareo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evaristo Cordareo in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Anfilogino Tolin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Tauro in the 65th minute of play. Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Evaristo Cordareo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 68th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Leonel Caponi took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anfilogino Tolin. Anfilogino Tolin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. The corner led Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Marcos Loi to fire away a dangerous shot which Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Club Atlético Escocia's Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Ledesma in the 84th minute of play. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Cordareo in the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Anastasio Gagriel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anfilogino Tolin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Atlético Escocia were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Aerolineas Argentinas FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Justin Tello took the corner. After taking down the ball on Club Atlético Escocia's corner Justin Tello fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Anfilogino Tolin quite easily take care of the ball. Clemente Oroitz charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clemente Oroitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Club Atlético Escocia getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Clemente Oroitz hit a great ball. 98 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Escocia's goalkeeper Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcos Loi.
