After a rather tough play, JS 22's Alfonso Cilio got a free kick in the 9th minute. 14 minutes in the game, Rigoberto Flores fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Robert Steffens having to interfere. Crişan Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Cilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Robert Steffens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cenan Savlet's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. 25 minutes into the match, Ciclista FC's goal looked a bit too open when Darío Cvitanich came free, but Crişan Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 played minutes JS 22 got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Hustaz. Lv Ang Si's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Robert Steffens firmly grabbed it by the left post. Robert Steffens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Flores in the 28th minute of play. In the 31stth minute of the game Cenan Savlet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JS 22's Robert Steffens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lv Ang Si sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. JS 22's Robert Steffens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save JS 22 from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 36 in the game by Lv Ang Si from a close distance when the talented Robert Steffens managed to make a qualified save. JS 22's players were relieved. Pashk Reçi hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Ciclista FC's Crişan Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darío Cvitanich in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Lv Ang Si cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Robert Steffens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lv Ang Si made a kick off. Arnulfo Tancredos short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Crişan Taffarel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Crişan Taffarel managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when JS 22's Arnulfo Tancredo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Arnulfo Tancredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Crişan Taffarel made a huge save. In the 60th minute, Rigoberto Flores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Justo Osorio during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ciclista FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Justo Osorio hit a great ball. Robert Steffens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lv Ang Si, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. JS 22's Robert Steffens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cenan Savlet in the 68th minute of play. With a little luck, Ciclista FC's Crişan Taffarel got control of the ball when Arnulfo Tancredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rigoberto Flores recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lv Ang Si in the 74th minute of play forced JS 22's goalkeeper Robert Steffens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Cayetano Gonsalve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Crişan Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rigoberto Flores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute of the match Serafin Cidro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robert Steffens showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Crişan Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darío Cvitanich, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ciclista FC's zone, Darío Cvitanich stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Crişan Taffarel came out of the goal and Darío Cvitanich tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cenan Savlet in the 97th minute of play forced JS 22's goalkeeper Robert Steffens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the JS 22 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ciclista FC.
