In the 3rd minute, Ruperto Serafo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rincón de los Sauces AFC's Galip Öveç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Minas Makris in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robinho Salgado in the 7th minute of play forced Rincón de los Sauces AFC's goalkeeper Galip Öveç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Matheu City FC's Robinho Salgado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Galip Öveç made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Minas Makris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Blas Rozarius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matheu City FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Blas Rozarius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Galip Öveç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Minas Makris took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Galip Öveç. Galip Öveç dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Minas Makris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute Rincón de los Sauces AFC were awarded a corner. Son Son went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Rincón de los Sauces AFC's corner Son Son fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Celedonio Eguen quite easily take care of the ball. In the 31st match minute, Matheu City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Minas Makris to maneuver through the defense. Galip Öveç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Rozarius in the 34th minute of play. In the 38th minute of the match Matheu City FC got a corner. Rincón de los Sauces AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ruperto Serafo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Celedonio Eguen made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Son Son sent off a good shot on target. Geronimo Isauro hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Blas Rozarius struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Galip Öveç didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matheu City FC. 47 minutes into the game, Matheu City FC's Minas Makris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Galip Öveç made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After the first half Matheu City FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Son Son to make the kick off. In the 59th minute, Matheu City FC's Blas Rozarius dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. 62 minutes into the match, Matheu City FC's Minas Makris sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Galip Öveç narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rincón de los Sauces AFC's Galip Öveç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Rozarius in the 64th minute of play. Matheu City FC's Celedonio Eguen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Isauro in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Rincón de los Sauces AFC's goalkeeper Galip Öveç had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blas Rozarius. Vicente Marin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Galip Öveç made a huge save. Galip Öveç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Minas Makris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robinho Salgado's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Galip Öveç firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Minas Makris got free with Galip Öveç in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th minute, Minas Makris reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Galip Öveç. The goal made the score 0-5. Galip Öveç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Minas Makris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st play minute Robinho Salgado came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Galip Öveç. 0-6. After a rather tough play, Rincón de los Sauces AFC's Efrain Obeko got a free kick in the 85th minute. Ruperto Serafo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The Rincón de los Sauces AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Matheu City FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
