Miguel Borja started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Real Academia Serengetti's goal looked a bit too open when Fagildo Pamanes came free, but Ender Kuntay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bolo Bolaño fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Consejo del Mate's protests and gave Bolo Bolaño a yellow card for diving instead. Bolo Bolaño hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. If Bolo Bolaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute Fagildo Pamanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ender Kuntay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Real Academia Serengetti's goal looked a bit too open when Bolo Bolaño came free, but Ender Kuntay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ender Kuntay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fagildo Pamanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Academia Serengetti's goalkeeper Ender Kuntay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Miguel Borja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Hugo Orlando Gatti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ender Kuntay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Kemen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ender Kuntay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bolo Bolaño in the 31st minute of the match. Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Consejo del Mate from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute, Bolo Bolaño ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ender Kuntay was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Fagildo Pamanes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ender Kuntay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Hernan Quinton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ender Kuntay. Real Academia Serengetti's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Miguel Borja kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 49th minute, Miguel Borja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bolo Bolaño was the one to do the kick off. Fagildo Pamanes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Ender Kuntay made a huge save. In the 56th minute, Štefan Hlavica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Isidro Incendio came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Real Academia Serengetti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidro Incendio couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Freddy Bidun in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Real Academia Serengetti's Edwin De Mulder. If Aryakumara Snow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71st minute Julio Kemen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ender Kuntay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fagildo Pamanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ender Kuntay having to interfere. Isidro Incendio hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Fagildo Pamanes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Ender Kuntay when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Consejo del Mate's Aquiles Cordero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ender Kuntay in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fagildo Pamanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ender Kuntay having to interfere. Aryakumara Snow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Real Academia Serengetti's Ender Kuntay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fagildo Pamanes in the 97th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Consejo del Mate walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
