After a rather tough play, Victorica AFC's Ezequiel Peruxu got a free kick in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Federico Girotti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonel Chan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leonel Chan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Girotti in the 8th minute of the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Federico Girotti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Girotti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Pascual Locaio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Victorica AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cartero de Agronomia F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Victorica AFC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Pascual Locaio hit a great ball. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Victorica AFC's goalkeeper Leonel Chan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Victorica AFC defense, Federico Girotti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonel Chan. The Victorica AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonel Chan should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amancio Madaleno got free with Armando Basajaun in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute, Federico Girotti made a precise shot to the right of Leonel Chan. Victorica AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Federico Girotti in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonel Chan saved Victorica AFC from getting behind. 38 minutes into the game, Federico Girotti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Leonel Chan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leonel Chan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Federico Girotti's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edelmiro Lastur during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leonel Chan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Girotti in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Cartero de Agronomia F.C. were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Federico Girotti was the one to do the kick off. Federico Girotti stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Victorica AFC's defenders and the ball went out. Cartero de Agronomia F.C. appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Evaristo Errando got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armando Basajaun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Madaleno in the 71st minute of the match. Oso Ted made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Victorica AFC's Edelmiro Lastur. If Amancio Madaleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 80 minutes into the game, Fabricio Miro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leonel Chan. Fabricio Miro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. After having played for 84 minutes, Fabricio Miro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabricio Miro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonel Chan was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Fabricio Miro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fabricio Miro really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Leonel Chan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oso Ted in the 90th minute. The Cartero de Agronomia F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cartero de Agronomia F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
