With a couple of smart ball manuevers Todd Gronow in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonel Chan saved Victorica AFC from getting behind. Todd Gronow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leonel Chan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Todd Gronow in the 10th minute of the match. Todd Gronow's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonel Chan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Abelardo Janpier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Madaleno in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edelmiro Lastur was slow to take the kick. During this time Victorica AFC's players had a chance to rest. Victorica AFC's Edelmiro Lastur was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Abelardo Janpier in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Todd Gronow scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonel Chan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Ezequiel Peruxu came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Victorica AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Peruxu couldn't finish the play. Abelardo Janpier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Madaleno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niceto Cortez made in the 34th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Igor Hever immediately put the ball in play. 37 minutes into the game, Todd Gronow cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Leonel Chan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 41st minute, Todd Gronow got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Victorica AFC's zone, Todd Gronow stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel Chan came out of the goal and Todd Gronow tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute, Ezequiel Peruxu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Victorica AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Todd Gronow was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Victorica AFC defense, Todd Gronow kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonel Chan. The Victorica AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonel Chan should have stopped the shot. In the 58th minute, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Todd Gronow dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Todd Gronow's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leonel Chan firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC booed when Victorica AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Cortez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Todd Gronow recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leonel Chan. Todd Gronow showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. The crowd rose to their feet as Mariusz Ratulowski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leonel Chan. That made the score 0-7 in the 89 minute of play. Leonel Chan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariusz Ratulowski in the 91st minute of play. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Abelardo Janpier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Madaleno in the 94th minute of play.
