Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Julianda Saputra took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Silverio Tuste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Iratxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Tuste in the 4th minute of play forced Real Espartillar's goalkeeper Gavino Iratxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute, Silverio Tuste made a precise shot to the right of Gavino Iratxo. Real Espartillar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Cipriano Llorian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Serafino Jurdan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute Silverio Tuste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Iratxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 15 in the game by Julianda Saputra from a close distance when the talented Serafino Jurdan managed to make a qualified save. Newells Old Boys's players were relieved. 18 minutes into the match, Newells Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Julianda Saputra came free, but Serafino Jurdan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silverio Tuste might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gavino Iratxo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silverio Tuste ran back to his position shaking his head. 19 minutes into the match, Real Espartillar's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Tuste came free, but Gavino Iratxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Newells Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Julianda Saputra came free, but Serafino Jurdan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Real Espartillar's Gavino Iratxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André-Pierre Gignac in the 28th minute of play. Adan Chinto kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Silverio Tuste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Serafino Jurdan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julianda Saputra in the 37th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Newells Old Boys's Silverio Tuste in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Espartillar's goalie prevented a goal. Gavino Iratxo came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Newells Old Boys's Silverio Tuste. But to his dismay, Silverio Tuste quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Newells Old Boys's Serafino Jurdan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julianda Saputra in the 61st minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Newells Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Julianda Saputra came free, but Serafino Jurdan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silverio Tuste received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gavino Iratxo came out and tried to block the shot, but Silverio Tuste slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 65th minute. Gavino Iratxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Tuste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Newells Old Boys's Tomas Itzaina got a free kick in the 71st minute. Tomas Itzaina kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Serafino Jurdan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julianda Saputra, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The audience was convinced that Julianda Saputra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serafino Jurdan was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. In the 82nd minute, Isaac Leoiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Silverio Tuste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 86 minutes into the match, Cipriano Llorian notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Newells Old Boys's Serafino Jurdan. Serafino Jurdan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 95 minutes into the match, Real Espartillar's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Tuste came free, but Gavino Iratxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Real Espartillar lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
