AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernabe Harriet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blade Runnel in the 13th minute of the match. Tolek Chazen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Bernabe Harriet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 minutes, Marcelo Matteo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cosquín FC and the AC LeX Luthor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bernabe Harriet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peep Pronk went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peep Pronk in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernabe Harriet saved Cosquín FC from getting behind. AC LeX Luthor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pancho Branca in the 25th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Cosquín FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AC LeX Luthor:s goal. Bernabe Harriet had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Pancho Branca's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a long run with the ball, Pancho Branca did a trick in the 32nd minute in front of Cosquín FC's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 0-3. An impressive performance by AC LeX Luthor's Pancho Branca! In the 35thth minute of the game Peep Pronk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cosquín FC's Bernabe Harriet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tolek Chazen kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Gualter Coelho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cosquín FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC LeX Luthor the free kick. Bernabe Harriet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peep Pronk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Peep Pronk came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the AC LeX Luthor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peep Pronk couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Horacio Nataniel to strike the kick off in the second half. AC LeX Luthor made a substitution. Carlos Alberto Marquez replaced Cod Whatman. Bernabe Harriet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Alberto Marquez in the 61st minute. The audience was convinced that Carlos Alberto Marquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernabe Harriet was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Errando in the 83rd minute of play forced Cosquín FC's goalkeeper Bernabe Harriet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernabe Harriet came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by AC LeX Luthor's Carlos Alberto Marquez. But to his dismay, Carlos Alberto Marquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. After 88 minutes, Carlos Alberto Marquez made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Cosquín FC's Bernabe Harriet tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 91 minutes, Alvaro Errando made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. AC LeX Luthor played a much better game than Cosquín FC and deserved their victory. The Cosquín FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
