In the 9th minute, Valentīns Dimpēteris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Luciano Mon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danilo Aires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cederik De Roost, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. With his leg Danilo Aires managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when MAN FC's Cederik De Roost fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Godofredo Abella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Urti in the 21st minute of the match. Marcelino Hug could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Danilo Aires made a huge save. Evelio Medardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, MAN FC's Marcelino Hug sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danilo Aires narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Godofredo Abella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Urti, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Margarita's Danilo Aires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cederik De Roost in the 38th minute of play. Cederik De Roost scored 1-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Danilo Aires, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 42 minutes into the match, MAN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Rivero came free, but Godofredo Abella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Margarita's Severo Rivero fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Cederik De Roosts short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Danilo Aires to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. MAN FC's Godofredo Abella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Urti in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Godofredo Abella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Rivero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 minutes MAN FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adan Lorencio who took care of the corner kick. Margarita's Adan Lorencio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Godofredo Abella in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A hard shot 56 in the game by Evelio Medardo from a close distance when the talented Godofredo Abella managed to make a qualified save. MAN FC's players were relieved. Margarita were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after MAN FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adan Lorencio took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of MAN FC's goalie and right to Evelio Medardo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. MAN FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 60thth minute of the game Cederik De Roost who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Margarita's Danilo Aires was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute Severo Rivero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Abella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evelio Medardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Higinio Urti in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Godofredo Abella prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cederik De Roost sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 80th minute of the match Margarita got a corner. MAN FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adan Lorencio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Adan Lorencio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MAN FC's Godofredo Abella did a great save. The referee felt a red card was in order, 82 minutes into the game, when Li Wei Jun put in a rough tackle. Adan Lorencio took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Godofredo Abella. Godofredo Abella dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The Margarita fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Margarita's Higinio Urti looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Hurko in the 92nd minute of play forced Margarita's goalkeeper Danilo Aires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
