Cristian Adrio's late challenge caught a Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Adrio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to PGE FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Cristian Adrio hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Cristian Adrio in the 19th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Teofilo Sustrai. In the 22nd minute Bartolo Leoiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Toldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Francesco Toldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Eguen in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind PGE FC's goalkeeper Rolando Merexildo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Guillermo Eguen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francesco Toldo. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guillermo Eguen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 42 minutes into the match, PGE FC's goalkeeper Rolando Merexildo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Usain Lucifer. After 43 minutes PGE FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Serafin Bortzaioriz who took care of the corner kick. Rolando Merexildo made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Severo Tono sent off a good shot on target. When Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Severo Tono in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PGE FC's goalie prevented a goal.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Bartolo Leoiar put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Francesco Toldo. Mauro Odon hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Gabriel-Omar Lewandowski was substituted for Filiberto Etxahun. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severo Tono in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Merexildo saved PGE FC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Mauro Odon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Francesco Toldo. That made the score 1-3 in the 69 minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, PGE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Mendebal came free, but Rolando Merexildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francesco Toldo made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Bartolo Leoiar sent off a good shot on target. Francesco Toldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Odon in the 80th minute of play. Severo Tono struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Rolando Merexildo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Resurrección Diabólica Ψ. Rolando Merexildo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaston Mendebal's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute, Severo Tono got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Guillermo Eguen managed to get in a good position for a shot. PGE FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Guillermo Eguen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francesco Toldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. PGE FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
