With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Merexildo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. PGE FC's Rolando Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Kiewit in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind PGE FC's goalkeeper Rolando Merexildo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Johan Kiewit sped through PGE FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rolando Merexildo. Rolando Merexildo came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Bermejo Club's Johan Kiewit. But to his dismay, Johan Kiewit quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolo Leoiar got free with Leandro Munio in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leandro Munio made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Eriberto Charro sent off a good shot on target. Rolando Merexildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Kiewit in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, PGE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Johan Kiewit came free, but Rolando Merexildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Merexildo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johan Kiewit went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Johan Kiewit took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Merexildo. Rolando Merexildo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Bartolo Leoiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Munio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Kiewit in the 40th minute of play forced PGE FC's goalkeeper Rolando Merexildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 minutes of play, Bermejo Club's Johan Kiewit made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Merexildo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Johan Kiewit managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bermejo Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Johan Kiewit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Merexildo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 46 minutes, Andres Cuartio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PGE FC and the Bermejo Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After the first half Bermejo Club were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bartolo Leoiar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, PGE FC's Rolando Merexildo got control of the ball when Feliberto Tauro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Johan Kiewit's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Merexildo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. After 56 minutes PGE FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Feliberto Tauro who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Bermejo Club's King Nanuk getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. PGE FC's Rolando Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bennvar Skytten in the 59th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Bermejo Club got a freekick which was hit by King Nanuk. 65 minutes into the match, Bermejo Club's Bennvar Skytten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Merexildo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Bennvar Skytten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bermejo Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Rolando Merexildo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bermejo Club. 82 minutes into the match, Bennvar Skytten dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rolando Merexildo, 0-8. 85 minutes into the match, Bermejo Club's Bennvar Skytten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Merexildo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to PGE FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Gaspar Polo hit a great ball. Rolando Merexildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bennvar Skytten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Bennvar Skytten kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rolando Merexildo. That made the score 0-9 in the 90 minute of play. In the 95th minute Bennvar Skytten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Merexildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Bermejo Club players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
