The Furia Calamar fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Furia Calamar's Damaso Sotero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A. Korn's Ubaldo Matildo Fillol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Delfino in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute Damaso Sotero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Matildo Fillol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruben Salvator got free with Daniel Hanot in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A. Korn were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Furia Calamar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Prudencio Ovando took the corner. A throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game was made by Ivan Gomez with Ceferino Reno as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. A sloppy throw-in by Ivan Gomez in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by A. Korn's Zbigniew Fedosz. The supporters of A. Korn booed when Furia Calamar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Reno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruben Salvator could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Daniel Hanot made a huge save. 30 minutes into the game, Damaso Sotero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Ruben Salvator took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Daniel Hanot to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice moves Ruben Salvator could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Daniel Hanot however easily saved by the left post. In the 44th minute Julián Quintero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Matildo Fillol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 49th minute of the match A. Korn got a corner. Furia Calamar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Prudencio Ovando ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led A. Korn's Zbigniew Fedosz to fire away a dangerous shot which Daniel Hanot despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The A. Korn players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Furia Calamar were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruben Salvator to strike the kick off in the second half. In the last second Ubaldo Matildo Fillol throw himself and got hold of the ball when Damaso Sotero in the 53rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 55thth minute of the game Damaso Sotero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A. Korn's Ubaldo Matildo Fillol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 57th minute, Ruben Salvator got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind A. Korn's goalkeeper Ubaldo Matildo Fillol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Hanot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Salvator in the 63rd minute of play. Furia Calamar made a substitution. Nemesio Suarez replaced Conrado Savion. Ivan Gomez got a throw-in 66 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Nemesio Suarez. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Ubaldo Matildo Fillol successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Salvator in the 69th minute of play forced Furia Calamar's goalkeeper Daniel Hanot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee showed Ivan Gomez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Furia Calamar's Ivan Gomez got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 90 played minutes Furia Calamar got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Gomez. After a rather tough play, A. Korn's Eugenio Cruz got a free kick in the 94th minute. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Sotero, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. In the 96th match minute, Furia Calamar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Delfino to maneuver through the defense. The A. Korn supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Furia Calamar's performance. The match ended with a win for Furia Calamar.
