Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bartolo Salvator, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sait Sarı hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The supporters of San Fernando Eagles booed when Potencial Desperdiciado F was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peng Peng didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugo Ganix to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute of the match, Polo Quinteros got a very nice opportunity to score, but Radu Proca was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raimundo Panfilo couldn't finish the play. The San Fernando Eagles supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing San Fernando Eagles would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
