After 16 minutes San Fernando Eagles's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jozef Barmoš who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Furia Calamar's Jozef Barmoš to fire away a dangerous shot which Bartolo Salvator despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the San Fernando Eagles defense, Conrado Savion kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bartolo Salvator. The San Fernando Eagles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bartolo Salvator should have stopped the shot. San Fernando Eagles's Bartolo Salvator proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save San Fernando Eagles from getting a goal against them. Niklas Alströmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Salvator having to interfere. Bartolo Salvator took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Savion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Conrado Savion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Salvator saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bartolo Salvator made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Savion in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Alströmer in the 34th minute of play forced San Fernando Eagles's goalkeeper Bartolo Salvator to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Hanot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Polo Quinteros went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Epifanio Gagriel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Bartolo Salvator when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Epifanio Gagriel did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Bartolo Salvator 40 minutes into the match. Tobias Leheren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Bartolo Salvator made a huge save. Bartolo Salvator showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Sotero, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vlad Enceanu was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Hanot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vlad Enceanu in the 55th minute of play. Furia Calamar's Baldomiro Reynardo was substituted for Epifanio Gagriel. After a rather tough play, San Fernando Eagles's Nicodemo Diestre got a free kick in the 63rd minute. San Fernando Eagles's Niceto Chorache was substituted for Roque Ariando. Damaso Sotero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bartolo Salvator having to make a save. After 73 played minutes Furia Calamar got a freekick which was hit by Kami Glik. Polo Quinteros in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Daniel Hanot, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Furia Calamar's Daniel Hanot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Sol in the 80th minute of play. Polo Quinteros took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Hanot. Daniel Hanot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. When Vicente Sol came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the San Fernando Eagles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Sol couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in San Fernando Eagles's zone, Damaso Sotero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartolo Salvator came out of the goal and Damaso Sotero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bartolo Salvator made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Arotza in the 91st minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Furia Calamar fully deserved thier win.
