The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Ruben Salvator had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florencio Cutberto. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruben Salvator was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Donostia in the 9th minute of play. Alvaro Urtsin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Florencio Cutberto firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilbert Godefroid in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ubaldo Matildo Fillol saved A. Korn from getting behind. After 15 played minutes A. Korn got a freekick which was hit by Haythem Boumnijel. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Bonifacio Guib managed to get in a good position for a shot. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifacio Guib was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Florencio Cutberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Salvator, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 18 minutes into the match, SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Salvator came free, but Florencio Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruben Salvator took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florencio Cutberto. Florencio Cutberto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 24th minute Gilbert Godefroid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Matildo Fillol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute Dave Signoretti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Matildo Fillol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the A. Korn defense, Dave Signoretti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ubaldo Matildo Fillol. The A. Korn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ubaldo Matildo Fillol should have stopped the shot. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Donostia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, A. Mario Hermelando made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by A. Korn's Alvaro Urtsin. After 44 played minutes A. Korn got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Urtsin. In the 45th minute Froilan Donostia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Matildo Fillol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ruben Salvator stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gilbert Godefroid showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 51 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Froilan Donostia in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ubaldo Matildo Fillol saved A. Korn from getting behind. In the 57th minute of the match, Froilan Donostia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ubaldo Matildo Fillol saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Froilan Donostia sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 66 minutes, Gilbert Godefroid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilbert Godefroid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV made a substitution. Mats Linqvist replaced Dave Signoretti. A sloppy throw-in by Prudencio Ovando in the 69th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Valeryan Bochkin. 71 minutes into the game, Prudencio Ovando threw the ball into play from the sideline. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Santiago Mattin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Mats Linqvist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol came out and tried to block the shot, but Mats Linqvist slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 71st minute. Korn's Prudencio Ovando. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mats Linqvist got free with Ubaldo Matildo Fillol in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 81 played minutes A. Korn got a freekick which was hit by Zbigniew Fedosz. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol was a little too slow when Mats Linqvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 2-5. In the 85th minute Mats Linqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Matildo Fillol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florencio Cutberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Salvator, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
