After 41 played minutes CA Boca Jrs MdP got a freekick which was hit by Jacek Penc. After a defensive mix-up in CA Boca Jrs MdP's zone, Lucas Rivas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Gonzales came out of the goal and Lucas Rivas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute, Mauro Boselli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miguel Gonzales made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauro Boselli in the 47th minute. The Shuspendemo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CA Boca Jrs MdP were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Réda Kolb stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
