The supporters of Diego Eterno booed when Gladiadores Legionarios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Su Xiang Sha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The Diego Eterno fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Diego Eterno's Ni De Yun looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Niklas Dalkvist came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Gladiadores Legionarios fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niklas Dalkvist couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Gladiadores Legionarios's Modesto Santikurtz threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Simon Marquez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Gladiadores Legionarios's goalie and right to Danilo Mano. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Gladiadores Legionarios's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 33rd minute, Simon Marquez sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Diego Eterno's Modesto Santikurtz didn't even have to move. Haroldo Abadie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Modesto Santikurtz made a huge save. Modesto Santikurtz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Gaitan in the 39th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Haroldo Abadie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Gladiadores Legionarios's goal looked a bit too open when Ni De Yun came free, but Efrain Maria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute, Ni De Yun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Efrain Maria was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After the first half Diego Eterno were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niklas Dalkvist made a kick off. Haroldo Abadie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Modesto Santikurtz having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jairo Kiliz during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th minute, Jairo Kiliz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Gladiadores Legionarios booed when Diego Eterno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Piarres didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ni De Yun in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Efrain Maria saved Gladiadores Legionarios from getting behind. In the 72nd match minute, Diego Eterno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Erruki to maneuver through the defense. Modesto Santikurtz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Gaitan in the 73rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Diego Eterno's Carolo Lope got a free kick in the 77th minute. Modesto Santikurtz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Gaitan, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The supporters of Gladiadores Legionarios booed when Diego Eterno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Piarres didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Diego Eterno's zone, Niklas Dalkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modesto Santikurtz came out of the goal and Niklas Dalkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute Niklas Dalkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Santikurtz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ni De Yun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Israel Erruki hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Modesto Santikurtz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Su Xiang Sha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haroldo Abadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gladiadores Legionarios's Bernardino Orzaize was substituted for Ermegildo Calvet. Efrain Maria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ni De Yun's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gladiadores Legionarios's zone, Ni De Yun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Maria came out of the goal and Ni De Yun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Ni De Yun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Efrain Maria was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. When Diego Eterno's Ni De Yun in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gladiadores Legionarios's goalie prevented a goal.
