In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gladiadores Legionarios's goalkeeper Efrain Maria, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Prospero Cibran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Efrain Maria having to make a save. Efrain Maria didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Prospero Cibran went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 16 minutes into the match, Gladiadores Legionarios's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Cibran came free, but Efrain Maria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 18 minutes, Prospero Cibran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ReAl Coholicos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prospero Cibran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, ReAl Coholicos's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Dalkvist came free, but Sergio Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Almir Travassos kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Dalkvist in the 22nd minute of play forced ReAl Coholicos's goalkeeper Sergio Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gladiadores Legionarios's goalkeeper Efrain Maria, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Prospero Cibran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Efrain Maria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Cibran in the 32nd minute of play. Prospero Cibran might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Efrain Maria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Prospero Cibran ran back to his position shaking his head. Efrain Maria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Cibran in the 34th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Julio Grondona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Efrain Maria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prospero Cibran's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Prospero Cibran might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Efrain Maria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Prospero Cibran ran back to his position shaking his head. 39 minutes into the match, ReAl Coholicos's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Dalkvist came free, but Sergio Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Gladiadores Legionarios's goalkeeper Efrain Maria, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Efrain Maria was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Prospero Cibran capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Prospero Cibran really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After having played for 47 minutes, Jimeno Gaxan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ReAl Coholicos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimeno Gaxan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gladiadores Legionarios's Ambrosio Gasteiz was substituted for Generoso Cresitobalo. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Efrain Maria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Cibran, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Efrain Maria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Gaxan in the 57th minute of the match. Sergio Romero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Haroldo Abadie in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute Prospero Cibran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Maria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prospero Cibran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Haroldo Abadie fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gladiadores Legionarios's protests and gave Haroldo Abadie a yellow card for diving instead. ReAl Coholicos's Prospero Cibran got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sergio Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Grondona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, ReAl Coholicos's Sergio Romero got control of the ball when Haroldo Abadie tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niklas Dalkvist got free with Sergio Romero in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 94 minutes into the match, Gladiadores Legionarios's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Cibran came free, but Efrain Maria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niklas Dalkvist came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sergio Romero could save by the left post.
