After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Marco Nisio got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute Acácio Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Raymond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute AC Batán were awarded a corner. José Carlos da Silveira went to the cornerflag to take it. Silvestre Rexino made a great header on AC Batán's corner, it was just that Racing Club's Francisco Raymond managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Silvestre Rexino sped through Racing Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Francisco Raymond. 26 minutes into the game, Acácio Nogueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Francisco Raymond was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Racing Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. José Carlos da Silveira was slow to take the kick. During this time AC Batán's players had a chance to rest. Cristo Serapio was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 38 minutes into the match, AC Batán's Acácio Nogueira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francisco Raymond narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner led to AC Batán's Cristo Serapio getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Club's goalkeeper Francisco Raymond, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven-Edvin Dalgren was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, AC Batán's Acácio Nogueira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francisco Raymond narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Francisco Raymond was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Acácio Nogueira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 64 minute of play. After a rather tough play, AC Batán's Cristo Serapio got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 72nd minute, Ubaldo Afonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute of the match Enrico Petrini sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ni Le Zheng skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as AC Batán's Acácio Nogueira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Francisco Raymond. That made the score 0-6 after 79 minutes of play. AC Batán's Cristoforo Di Ruscio was substituted for José Carlos da Silveira. Cido Cardozo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When AC Batán's Cido Cardozo in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Racing Club's goalie prevented a goal. 89 minutes into the match, AC Batán's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Edvin Dalgren came free, but Ni Le Zheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cido Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Francisco Raymond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
