The crowd rose to their feet as Cristo Basajaun kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Francisco Raymond. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Ciriaco Macias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Senen, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Francisco Raymond made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Cristo Basajaun sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 15 minutes, Cristo Basajaun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristo Basajaun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francisco Raymond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Indiana Jones in the 16th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Francisco Dolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Raymond made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Heigo Luiga sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the game, C.A.Independiente's Indiana Jones nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Raymond made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Racing Club's Francisco Raymond proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Racing Club from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Racing Club's Francisco Raymond got control of the ball when Cristo Basajaun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnaldo Senen hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Heigo Luiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisco Raymond was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0.

Francisco Raymond stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristo Basajaun's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Francisco Raymond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heigo Luiga in the 59th minute of the match. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ivan Flor hit a great ball. In the 65th minute Gavino Hitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Macias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, C.A.Independiente's Lisandro Mederi got a free kick in the 69th minute. Francisco Raymond came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.Independiente's Cristo Basajaun. But to his dismay, Cristo Basajaun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 81 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Basajaun came free, but Francisco Raymond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Teyo hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Lisandro Mederi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Ciriaco Macias successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 89 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Mederi came free, but Francisco Raymond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Telmo in the 94th minute of play forced C.A.Independiente's goalkeeper Ciriaco Macias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anísio Cosme to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the C.A.Independiente players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
