An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcin Danisiewicz in the 39th minute of play forced Piquirenda FC's goalkeeper Didi Papardelas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LEBRON's Yin Chuan Feng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Bernal in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, LEBRON's Epifanio Harkaitz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Didi Papardelas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Piquirenda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcin Danisiewicz came free, but Didi Papardelas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

LEBRON made a substitution. Ariel Lopez replaced Epifanio Harkaitz. Eugenio Bernal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yin Chuan Feng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Roberto Iratze got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Yin Chuan Feng quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ariel Lopez in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Didi Papardelas saved Piquirenda FC from getting behind. Angelo Che received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Yin Chuan Feng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Piquirenda FC's Severiano Ibañez suffered a concussion in the 93rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Arnaldo Santxol charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnaldo Santxol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
