Thanks to some nice moves Jan-Olof Eliasson could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Dalmacio Pello however easily saved by the left post. After some careless play in the La Gallardeta defense, Uriel Cordearo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Belchior Saldanha. The La Gallardeta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Belchior Saldanha should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute of the match, Jan-Olof Eliasson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dalmacio Pello was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Belchior Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Billing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 minutes, Uriel Cordearo made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. La Gallardeta's Belchior Saldanha tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th minute Faustino Unax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belchior Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Billing during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faustino Unax in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Belchior Saldanha saved La Gallardeta from getting behind. Tello AFC were furious when Lázaro Garcia was red carded, 38 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 37th minute, one of Tello AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tello AFC. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fulgencio Gartzi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Jan-Olof Eliasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Pello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Belchior Saldanha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Belchior Saldanha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustino Unax in the 55th minute. 60 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Belchior Saldanha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Uriel Cordearo. La Gallardeta's Belchior Saldanha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save La Gallardeta from getting a goal against them. Tello AFC's Dalmacio Pello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Eliasson in the 72nd minute of play. Faustino Unax struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Belchior Saldanha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tello AFC. 76 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Belchior Saldanha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faustino Unax. Belchior Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Cordearo, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Belchior Saldanha made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Faustino Unax sent off a good shot on target. Belchior Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Cordearo in the 86th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tello AFC's zone, Fulgencio Gartzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmacio Pello came out of the goal and Fulgencio Gartzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dalmacio Pello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Olof Eliasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Faustino Unax came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Belchior Saldanha could save by the left post. When Jan-Olof Eliasson came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the La Gallardeta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Olof Eliasson couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute Jan-Olof Eliasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Pello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
