Belchior Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Iraitz in the 44th minute of the match. Fulgencio Gartzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Celso Javiar made a huge save. After the first half Milferio were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Terry Jamieson was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Terry Jamieson in the 52nd minute of play forced La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Belchior Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milferio's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Terry Jamieson in the 53rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Terry Jamieson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Belchior Saldanha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Belchior Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terry Jamieson, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Terry Jamieson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Belchior Saldanha. La Gallardeta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Terry Jamieson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 75th minute, Terry Jamieson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celso Javiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Olof Eliasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enzo Tono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jonatan Iraitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
