After 3 minutes of play, La Gallardeta's Fulgencio Gartzi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Virgilio Sotil was left in no man's land by his defense there! Belchior Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Guifre in the 12th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Fulgencio Gartzi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Gallardeta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Virgilio Sotil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fulgencio Gartzi's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. After 24 minutes Villa Mitre's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alessio Scandella who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Clemente Anaya got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-0. 24 minutes into the match. Fulgencio Gartzi took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgilio Sotil. Virgilio Sotil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Virgilio Sotil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Gartzi in the 33rd minute of the match. Aaron Guifre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute Fulgencio Gartzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Sotil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgilio Sotil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Olof Eliasson in the 39th minute. After 40 minutes Villa Mitre's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alessio Scandella who took care of the corner kick. Alessio Scandella made a great header on La Gallardeta's corner, it was just that Villa Mitre's Virgilio Sotil managed to reach the ball for a save. Fulgencio Gartzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 54th minute, one of Villa Mitre:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Villa Mitre. Virgilio Sotil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fulgencio Gartzi's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Uriel Remigio hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Fulgencio Gartzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgilio Sotil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Jan-Olof Eliasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Sotil having to interfere. A collision led to La Gallardeta getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Fulgencio Gartzi hit a great ball. Virgilio Sotil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Gartzi in the 74th minute of the match. Virgilio Sotil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Gartzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Fulgencio Gartzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Virgilio Sotil was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After 89 played minutes Villa Mitre got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Delfino. Virgilio Sotil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fulgencio Gartzi went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 96th minute Jan-Olof Eliasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Sotil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Gallardeta's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
