Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) Arnulfo Kinsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Eneas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albino Sabin hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Mario Alberto Kempes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nery Pumpido. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Ramiro Isusko struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Arnulfo Kinsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tabossi. In the 26th play minute Mario Alberto Kempes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nery Pumpido. 2-0. 30 minutes into the match, Ramiro Isusko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnulfo Kinsen. Laurita FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramiro Isusko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The throw-in from Victorio Beltran in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Laurita FC's Fabian Manni. With his leg Nery Pumpido managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Laurita FC's Mario Alberto Kempes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Isusko in the 37th minute of play forced Laurita FC's goalkeeper Arnulfo Kinsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nery Pumpido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Alberto Kempes in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tadeo Eneas made a kick off. Mario Alberto Kempes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 56 minutes into the game, Tadeo Eneas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arnulfo Kinsen. Tadeo Eneas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Laurita FC made a substitution. Šair Lupin replaced Mario Alberto Kempes. Tabossi's Rolando Botello was substituted for Tadeo Eneas. Nery Pumpido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Šair Lupin in the 71st minute of play. In the 71st minute Šair Lupin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nery Pumpido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Laurita FC booed when Tabossi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Ganix didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Du Zheng Rong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fausto Ganix hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Šair Lupin in the 93rd minute of the match. When Šair Lupin came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Laurita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Šair Lupin couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
