When Caballeros Negros™'s Bavo Gijsbrechts in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Jordy in the 27th minute of play forced Caballeros Negros™'s goalkeeper Jan-Ove Felin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Mutu Surdu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Danilo Jordy dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jan-Ove Felin, 1-1. Jan-Ove Felin was a little too slow when Mutu Surdu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-1. Jan-Ove Felin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danilo Jordy in the 37th minute. Caballeros Negros™'s Casimiro Orain was substituted for Amancio Ixona. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carmelo Erlantz to make the kick off. For all the effort they put into the match, the Caballeros Negros™ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
