Tomás Gaizko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. José Chilavert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Papacharalabous hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Gaizko in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Chilavert saved Catarinense F.C. from getting behind. Marcelo Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amarante Sierra in the 38th minute of the match. Marcelo Armani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amarante Sierra's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. The audience was convinced that Amarante Sierra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Armani was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Thomás Barral took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Chilavert. José Chilavert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 61 minutes into the match, Catarinense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Thomás Barral came free, but José Chilavert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute of the match Rejunte de perros got a corner. Catarinense F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ezequiel Ixaka ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Rejunte de perros's corner Ezequiel Ixaka fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and José Chilavert quite easily take care of the ball. José Chilavert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Ixaka in the 65th minute of play. When Thomás Barral came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Rejunte de perros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomás Barral couldn't finish the play. Catarinense F.C.'s Georgiy Voroshilov was substituted for Gernando Cordeiro. Rejunte de perros made a substitution. Cheng Qian Qiang replaced Ezequiel Ixaka. The supporters of Rejunte de perros booed when Catarinense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Gabirel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Rejunte de perros fans cheered their team off the field, for while Catarinense F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
