The CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Albino Oso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albino Oso in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santiago Cordarell saved Bresikas from getting behind. 34 minutes into the match, Bresikas's goal looked a bit too open when Vidal Silvestre came free, but Santiago Cordarell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Juan Pablo Sorin in the 36th minute. CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Juan Pablo Sorin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Santiago Cordarell in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jacobo Romo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leovigildo Abumohor in the 68th minute of the match. With 73 minutes on the clock, Froilan Joseph commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE made a substitution. In the last second Santiago Cordarell throw himself and got hold of the ball when Vidal Silvestre in the 86thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 88 minutes into the match, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Åke Stolpe came free, but Jacobo Romo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
