After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Libertador's Darin Gannan got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute, Bartolo Ospetsu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Santiago Cordarell, passed just outside the right post. If Bartolo Ospetsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Club Atlético Libertador getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Darin Gannan hit a great ball. Santiago Cordarell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bartolo Ospetsu in the 23rd minute. Club Atlético Libertador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anastasio Enaut in the 27th minute. The corner led to Club Atlético Libertador's Bartolo Ospetsu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Emiliano Uchiha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Åke Stolpe in the 31st minute of play. Emiliano Uchiha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Åke Stolpe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Celso Candal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Leovigildo Abumohor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emiliano Uchiha was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 47thth minute of the game Bartolo Ospetsu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bresikas's Santiago Cordarell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Glanselius in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santiago Cordarell saved Bresikas from getting behind. Santiago Cordarell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Ospetsu in the 68th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Libertador's goalkeeper Emiliano Uchiha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Åke Stolpe. Santiago Cordarell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Ospetsu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Club Atlético Libertador booed when Bresikas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Eudoxio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Glanselius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santiago Cordarell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Bartolo Ospetsu sped through Bresikas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Santiago Cordarell. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
