After 32 played minutes La Scaloneta got a freekick which was hit by Polat Aranda. 33 minutes into the match, Zézinho Veloso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franco Moscatelli. La Scaloneta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zézinho Veloso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Hilario Lope kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. A collision led to La Scaloneta getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Freddy Cidro hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Franco Moscatelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zézinho Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Pablo Maggio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
