Ceferino Uzuri scored 2-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gianluigi Núñez Herrera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 83rd minute Ceferino Uzuri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Núñez Herrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ceferino Uzuri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 84 minutes into the match, Miraflores's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Uzuri came free, but Gianluigi Núñez Herrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Benjamin Mazuste's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Merdin Merdaci was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
