The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 13 minutes into the match, Pilar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Tolino came free, but Sixto Luke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Candido Hendrickx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute of the match, Östen Stor got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sixto Luke was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Deportivo Pucho were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Pilar FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Archie Litchfield took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Claudio-Paul Caniggia managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 97th minute, one of Pilar FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pilar FC. Pilar FC:s Sixto Luke showed great skill when he stopped Julio Tolino:s penalty. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
