The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Mihály Fülep ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nikos Sarkanis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 8th minute Venancio Salvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Barea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10th play minutes Venancio Salvino shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Aristides Barea and just under the crossbar into goal. After 12 minutes of play, ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's Venancio Salvino made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aristides Barea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Modesto Garcia hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute Augusto Fliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Sarkanis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aristides Barea came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's Venancio Salvino. But to his dismay, Venancio Salvino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Venancio Salvino might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aristides Barea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Venancio Salvino ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Salvino in the 22nd minute of play forced O rey Iván's goalkeeper Aristides Barea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the O rey Iván defense, Venancio Salvino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aristides Barea. The O rey Iván fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aristides Barea should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Jufran Van Landschoot managed to get in a good position for a shot. ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's supporters rose to their feet, but Jufran Van Landschoot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristides Barea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aristides Barea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jufran Van Landschoot, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zhuo Guang Xing in the 30th minute. The corner led ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's Zhuo Guang Xing to fire away a dangerous shot which Aristides Barea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 32 minutes in the game Dante Specht did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Venancio Salvino. In the 32nd match minute, ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jufran Van Landschoot to maneuver through the defense. If Venancio Salvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 38th minute Venancio Salvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Barea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aristides Barea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Erosa in the 41st minute of the match. Nikos Sarkanis made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Augusto Fliz sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Venancio Salvino was the one to do the kick off. Modesto Garcia hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. A sloppy throw-in by Elvio Lucado in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's Zhuo Guang Xing. Aristides Barea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Salvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's Venancio Salvino got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. O rey Iván made a substitution. Jacinto Resto replaced Modesto Garcia. ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's Zhuo Guang Xing quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Elvio Lucado, made in the 61st minute of the game. In the 62nd minute Venancio Salvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Barea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ made a substitution. Damaso Cordero replaced Wen Qing Bo. ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's Richard Textex was substituted for Froilan Diaz. Venancio Salvino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aristides Barea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Venancio Salvino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Aristides Barea made a huge save. Venancio Salvino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aristides Barea came out and tried to block the shot, but Venancio Salvino slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 83rd minute. 87 minutes into the match, O rey Iván's goalkeeper Aristides Barea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damaso Cordero. In the 88th match minute, ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Unax Viado to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute Augusto Fliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Sarkanis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's goalkeeper Nikos Sarkanis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
