Marcial Estavan came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by El Gallo de Moron's Luisinho Laguna. But to his dismay, Luisinho Laguna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Herminio Iratze came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nacho Gonzalez could save by the left post. Nacho Gonzalez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Iratze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cornelio Inges short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Nacho Gonzalez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 13 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Domenico Rosato sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nacho Gonzalez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Gallo de Moron's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Panda Moerdani was slow to take the kick. During this time INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Domenico Rosato managed to get in a good position for a shot. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Domenico Rosato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nacho Gonzalez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the match, El Gallo de Moron's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Iratze came free, but Nacho Gonzalez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nacho Gonzalez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cornelio Inge in the 29th minute. After 31 minutes of play, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Herminio Iratze made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nacho Gonzalez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nacho Gonzalez was a little too slow when Meng Qiang Liang got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 2-1. Luisinho Laguna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcial Estavan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Nacho Gonzalez made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Herminio Iratze sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s goalkeeper Marcial Estavan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Franco Ternero kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 55 played minutes, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Panda Moerdani shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nacho Gonzalez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in INDEPENDIENTE F.C. reached it. Marcial Estavan was a little too slow when Luisinho Laguna got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 2-3. Nacho Gonzalez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Warnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nacho Gonzalez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Iratze, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 70th minute Herminio Iratze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nacho Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisinho Laguna struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Marcial Estavan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Gallo de Moron. Marcial Estavan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisinho Laguna, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Luisinho Laguna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcial Estavan. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luisinho Laguna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. In the 79th minute Cornelio Inge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nacho Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Iratze in the 80th minute of play forced El Gallo de Moron's goalkeeper Nacho Gonzalez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to El Gallo de Moron getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Luisinho Laguna hit a great ball. Marcial Estavan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luisinho Laguna in the 82nd minute. Luisinho Laguna received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcial Estavan came out and tried to block the shot, but Luisinho Laguna slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisinho Laguna in the 87th minute of play forced INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s goalkeeper Marcial Estavan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chants of El Gallo de Moron echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as INDEPENDIENTE F.C. had held the ball for most of the match.
