After some careless play in the El Imperio del Cuervo defense, Godfredo Gau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remigio Petrigai. The El Imperio del Cuervo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remigio Petrigai should have stopped the shot. In the 6th minute Godfredo Gau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Petrigai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remigio Petrigai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Carlos Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Loren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachariasz Frankowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15thth minute of the game Godfredo Gau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Imperio del Cuervo's Remigio Petrigai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 16 minutes into the match, El Imperio del Cuervo's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Gau came free, but Remigio Petrigai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, El Imperio del Cuervo's Zachariasz Frankowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Loren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zachariasz Frankowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Loren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Emanuel Hjelm hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Volvio Moreno's Manuel Loren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Hjelm in the 28th minute of play. El Imperio del Cuervo were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Volvio Moreno's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zachariasz Frankowski took the corner. If Zachariasz Frankowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Godfredo Gau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Volvio Moreno's supporters rose to their feet, but Godfredo Gau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigio Petrigai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Gau in the 37th minute of play forced El Imperio del Cuervo's goalkeeper Remigio Petrigai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Godfredo Gau sped through El Imperio del Cuervo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Remigio Petrigai. After the first half Volvio Moreno were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Godfredo Gau in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remigio Petrigai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute, one of El Imperio del Cuervo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for El Imperio del Cuervo. El Imperio del Cuervo:s Remigio Petrigai showed great skill when he stopped Haroldo Presebal:s penalty. Haroldo Presebal did an outstanding performance 60 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-3 to the right of an irritated Remigio Petrigai in the goal. Remigio Petrigai came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Volvio Moreno's João Carlos Porto. But to his dismay, João Carlos Porto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Godfredo Gau's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Remigio Petrigai firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Volvio Moreno's Godfredo Gau in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Imperio del Cuervo's goalie prevented a goal. In the 75thth minute of the game Godfredo Gau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Imperio del Cuervo's Remigio Petrigai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Godfredo Gau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Zachariasz Frankowski fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Imperio del Cuervo's protests and gave Zachariasz Frankowski a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Volvio Moreno booed when El Imperio del Cuervo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachariasz Frankowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, João Carlos Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Volvio Moreno's supporters rose to their feet, but João Carlos Porto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigio Petrigai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. El Imperio del Cuervo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Godfredo Gau scored to the left of an out of position Remigio Petrigai, making the score, 0-5. When Baltasar Txatxu fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Imperio del Cuervo's protests and gave Baltasar Txatxu a yellow card for diving instead. Baltasar Txatxu hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. With his leg Remigio Petrigai managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Volvio Moreno's Godfredo Gau fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Remigio Petrigai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Carlos Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the match was over Volvio Moreno could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than El Imperio del Cuervo throughout the match.
