Erland Sagbakken made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atilano Quinten in the 10th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Los Delfines's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Corderro came free, but Matías Patrone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atilano Quinten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Erland Sagbakken made a huge save. In the 18thth minute of the game Gabriel Corderro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Delfines's Matías Patrone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Atletico Saladillo FC were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Los Delfines's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Prospero Hug took the corner. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
