With a left leg Mai Yao Yao saved Fracasados from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franco Navarro in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mai Yao Yao prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 25 minutes, Franco Navarro made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Fracasados's Mai Yao Yao tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mai Yao Yao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Navarro in the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Isidro Maidana dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Augusto Gaskon, 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidro Maidana got free with Augusto Gaskon in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Theagenis Papageorgiou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Augusto Gaskon made a huge save.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Theagenis Papageorgiou was the one to do the kick off. Honorio Lapurdi struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Augusto Gaskon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fracasados. Elpidio Demesio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Fervent Stalkers defense, Javier Beti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Augusto Gaskon. The Fervent Stalkers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Augusto Gaskon should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fracasados fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fervent Stalkers had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
