The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Godofredo Ignado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. David Schembri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emilio Selmo made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Leandro Chorche sent off a good shot on target. Emilio Selmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Guillelme, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Godofredo Ignado hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Antonio Guillelme sped through Amaducci's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emilio Selmo. A collision led to Amaducci getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Geronimo Paz hit a great ball. In the 40th minute of the match Northern California got a corner. Amaducci's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antonio Guillelme ran over to the corner to take the kick. Amaducci's Emilio Selmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Ilazki in the 41st minute of play. David Schembri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Oro, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 47 minutes into the match, Amaducci's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Isazi came free, but Emilio Selmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Isazi to make the kick off. Amaducci's Lisandro Urbasa got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antonio Guillelme hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute Gustavo Isazi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Selmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio Selmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Isazi in the 86th minute of play. Gustavo Isazi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Northern California's Gustavo Isazi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilio Selmo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Northern California were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Amaducci to leave the ground with a draw.
