In the 40th match minute, Northern California was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafin Ilazki to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Leandro Chorche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Darman Ardiansyah made a kick off. Gong Xiao hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darman Ardiansyah in the 77th minute of play forced Northern California's goalkeeper David Schembri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Darman Ardiansyah dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of David Schembri, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Isazi in the 88th minute of play forced Japy Man's goalkeeper Luisito Salvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Gong Xiao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
