The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evelio Pes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Atletico Calamar Saavedra booed when Club Sportivo Italiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Pes didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Evelio Pes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the game, Ruperto Txomin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Reynaldo Stephen. Ruperto Txomin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Reynaldo Stephen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Txomin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leon Egun kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Benjy Dreher was substituted for Eugenio Fliz. 92 minutes into the match, Jeronimo Birila had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reynaldo Stephen. Club Sportivo Italiano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeronimo Birila was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeronimo Birila got free with Reynaldo Stephen in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Atletico Calamar Saavedra walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
