In the 15th minute Carolo Stephen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Rainerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes, Aureliano Laurendi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ♦Diabetes♦ and the Copérnico F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The wind increased when Manuel Jatsu made the kick off in the second half. Amadeo Rainerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Stephen in the 51st minute of play. Leonel Cordara might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amadeo Rainerio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonel Cordara ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, ♦Diabetes♦'s Amadeo Rainerio threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leonel Cordara, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Leonel Cordara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Rainerio having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Leonel Cordara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amadeo Rainerio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After 85 minutes of play, ♦Diabetes♦'s Leonel Cordara made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeo Rainerio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th minute Leonel Cordara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Rainerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Leonel Cordara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amadeo Rainerio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The ♦Diabetes♦ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ♦Diabetes♦ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
