In the 8th minute Leonel Cordara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atıf Mertoğul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atıf Mertoğul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Milio in the 21st minute of the match. In the 34th minute ♦Diabetes♦ were awarded a corner. 方挺寒 went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Basilio Bertran heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 46 minutes into the match, Luiz Eduardo Xavier dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hendrik-Jan Krommert, 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonel Cordara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 1947 FC's Atıf Mertoğul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Cordara in the 53rd minute of play. Basilio Bertran was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 86th minute. ♦Diabetes♦'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kian Natanael in the 88th minute of play forced 1947 FC's goalkeeper Atıf Mertoğul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by 1947 FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anthon Odén was slow to take the kick. During this time ♦Diabetes♦'s players had a chance to rest. Hendrik-Jan Krommert came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by 1947 FC's Jeremias Stephen. But to his dismay, Jeremias Stephen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 94th minute Basilio Bertran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atıf Mertoğul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
