Amadeo Rainerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boleslaw Zielinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Amadeo Rainerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boleslaw Zielinski in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Lyons were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paolo Kinsen was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Copérnico F.C.'s goalkeeper Amadeo Rainerio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Lyons's Boleslaw Zielinski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeo Rainerio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amadeo Rainerio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dariusz Roano went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Copérnico F.C.'s Alvaro Montrell managed to work through Lyons's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Alvaro Montrell dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Montrell in the 90th minute of play forced Lyons's goalkeeper Luisito Quinten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Alvaro Montrell notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Lyons's Luisito Quinten. Luisito Quinten was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luisito Quinten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Kinsen in the 95th minute of play. Lyons's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
