Augusto Ellande didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erasmo Lorencio went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Severino Hulberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Morais in the 9th minute of the match. Severino Hulberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciriaco Chinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Rivermania FC's Severino Hulberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Chinto in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute of the match Mercedes got a corner. Rivermania FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Geovanni Carioca ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Mercedes's Ciriaco Chinto to fire away a dangerous shot which Severino Hulberto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Rivermania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Morais came free, but Severino Hulberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Erasmo Lorencio sped through Mercedes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Augusto Ellande. When Manuel Morais came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Mercedes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Morais couldn't finish the play. Severino Hulberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Morais, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Rosendo Flor might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Augusto Ellande. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rosendo Flor ran back to his position shaking his head. 45 minutes into the game, Rivermania FC's Rosendo Flor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augusto Ellande made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rosendo Flor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mercedes's Augusto Ellande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 叶翀文 in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Flor in the 56th minute of play forced Mercedes's goalkeeper Augusto Ellande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severino Hulberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciriaco Chinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mercedes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Augusto Ellande came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Rivermania FC's Rosendo Flor. But to his dismay, Rosendo Flor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 83 minutes into the match, Mercedes's goal looked a bit too open when Ana Tatangelo came free, but Augusto Ellande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Ellande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 叶翀文 in the 85th minute of play. Mercedes's Augusto Ellande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 叶翀文 in the 87th minute of play. Augusto Ellande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Flor, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 92nd minute, Mercedes's Ciriaco Chinto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-1. In the 94th minute Rosendo Flor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Ellande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mercedes players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rivermania FC.
