Lukas Lundgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Haakon á Borg made a huge save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Sérgio Aguero made the kick off in the second half. Haakon á Borg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Aguero, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Braulio Ruisko made in the 89th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Cura del Futbol's Froilan Fresco. Angel Xabel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörn Helström in the 90th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, POSSE 1911 FC's Sérgio Aguero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Haakon á Borg narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
