Thibaut Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koldobika Sendeño in the 18th minute of the match. Gregor Rinzema made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Stenman in the 19th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Isidro Reno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thibaut Courtois was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. The Pista Uno F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregor Rinzema should have stopped the shot. GUSESI's Thibaut Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Reno in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ovidio Favila was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Pista Uno F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Luis Tonete came free, but Gregor Rinzema reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Reno in the 56th minute of play forced GUSESI's goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pista Uno F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Isidro Reno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thibaut Courtois breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pista Uno F.C. made a substitution. Ismael Bartolome replaced Marcelo Abastas. After some careless play in the Pista Uno F.C. defense, Ovidio Favila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregor Rinzema. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. GUSESI walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
