The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Martínez Gullotta got free with Laurids Baylund in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, DESTROY's Laurids Baylund got control of the ball when Lautaro Martínez Gullotta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Evaristo Macerio was slow to take the kick. During this time DESTROY's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Santos Borre got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hugo Orlando Gatti quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 33 played minutes Amapola got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Uzuri. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Laurids Baylund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Uzuri, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The DESTROY fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when DESTROY's Armando Maradona looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With his leg Hugo Orlando Gatti managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when DESTROY's Santos Borre fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Maradona in the 54th minute of play forced Amapola's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Amapola's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ciriaco Bermudez hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, DESTROY's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Uzuri came free, but Laurids Baylund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 minutes DESTROY's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Javi Pinola who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Amapola's corner Javi Pinola fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Laurids Baylund quite easily take care of the ball. Amapola's Hugo Orlando Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Erik Vesterberg in the 90th minute of play. Laurids Baylund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Froila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Santos Borre sent off a good shot on target. Santos Borre succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 96th playminute. Although Amapola had been in control for most of the match, DESTROY still came away with the win.
