Deportivo Pergamino's Baltasar Santio got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roberto Bonano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duran Hunalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Duran Hunalp during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th minute, Cesar Egun fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dong Zhen Song, passed just outside the right post.
