In the 27th minute, Deportivo Pergamino's Baltasar Santio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leszek Wielopolski. Leszek Wielopolski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Roberto Bonano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Firme Verga in the 30th minute of play.
