The audience thought a goal was coming when Linus Fredriksson got free with Andy Garcia in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gugu Guimarães hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Andy Garcia made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Dionisio Panpili sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Linus Fredriksson got free with Andy Garcia in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juan Carlos Alvarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Etor in the 13th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Marlin FC's Fermin Arixo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andy Garcia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 19 minutes into the match, Fermin Arixo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andy Garcia. Soda f c's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fermin Arixo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 22 minutes into the match, Linus Fredriksson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Andy Garcia, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Arixo in the 30th minute of play forced Soda f c's goalkeeper Andy Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andy Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Panpili in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Soda f c getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Joaquin Mark hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Linus Fredriksson in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andy Garcia saved Soda f c from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Arixo in the 36th minute of play forced Soda f c's goalkeeper Andy Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian Etor hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute Fermin Arixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 played minutes Marlin FC got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Arixo. Ümit Daman scored 4-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Carlos Alvarez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ümit Daman made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Soda f c defense, Fermin Arixo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andy Garcia. The Soda f c fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andy Garcia should have stopped the shot. Soda f c made a substitution. Zézinho Moraes replaced Ümit Daman. In the 63rd minute Aybek Orcun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeronimo Sotil got a throw-in 66 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Aybek Orcun. Fermin Arixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Soda f c's goalkeeper Andy Garcia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Soda f c's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Arixo came free, but Andy Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Soda f c were furious when Dario Mazuste was red carded, 73 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 73rd minute, one of Soda f c:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Soda f c. The referee gave Marlin FC a penalty, 75 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ismael Iglesias, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Soda f c's Andy Garcia. 6-1. In the 81st minute Zézinho Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carlos Alvarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andy Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Panpili in the 82nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dionisio Panpili in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andy Garcia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 84 minutes into the match, Soda f c's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Panpili came free, but Andy Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute of the match Ismael Iglesias shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andy Garcia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Soda f c's Andy Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Arixo in the 87th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Jeronimo Sotil threw the ball into play from the sideline. Soda f c's Fabian Etor quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Juan Carlos Alvarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zézinho Moraes in the 91st minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Ismael Iglesias in the 97th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Soda f c's Gugu Guimarães. For all the effort they put into the match, the Soda f c players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Marlin FC.
